From fossil bank to tree frogs, cypress swamp to the Chesapeake Bay, the exhibits at the Virginia Living Museum will take you across the state and back for just the effort of a short walk. See what river life is like from the perspective of a catfish or a red squirrel, spot glowing moon jellyfish and the occasional shark in World of Darkness Gallery and catch some animal action during feeding times. The whole family will enjoy the stellar show in the recently renovated planetarium but be sure to take the time to visit the observatory itself (when skies are clear) for a look at the real thing - sign up for a special evening program if you're interested in a nighttime experience.
