Description
The diverse history of Maryland and the national heritage of the United States can be experienced at Oxon Cove Park. Through hands on activities, living history programs, and more, you can experience farm life and how it’‘s changed overtime. Explore how the park evolved from a plantation home during the War of 1812, to a hospital farm, to the park you can visit today.

Hours:
Oxon Cove Park, including Oxon Hill Farm, the Hiker/Biker Trail, and the Woodlot Trail are open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except January 1, Thanksgiving Day, and December 25.
Admissions and activities are free.

Basic Directions
Going North on the Capital Beltway, I-95/495
Make a right at the light onto Oxon Hill Road (MD 414). At the light, cross over Indian Head Highway (MD 210), staying on Oxon Hill Road. Instead of following the road as it veers towards the left, go through the construction barrels and travel over the bridge. Once you cross over the bridge, make a left into the park.
Going South on the Capital Beltway, I-95/495
Make a left at the light onto Indian Head Highway (MD 210). Take the first right hand turn onto Oxon Hill Road (MD 414). Instead of following the road as it veers towards the left, go through the construction barrels and travel over the bridge. Once you cross over the bridge, make a left into the park.
