When on a guided trip with New River Fly Fishing, be prepared to fish hard for the duration of your day. Please note that there is a huge learning curve involved in going from small stream fly fishing to the open water tactics required on the New River and Claytor Lake. Many anglers new to river fishing may find casting to be difficult at first, but we will teach you the necessary techniques for success. All of our guided trips include free on the water instruction in basic fly fishing skills, if required.
We offer a compact version of Go-Virginia for mobile users, allowing you to access just the information you need on the road. Of course, you can still use the full version of Go-Virginia on your mobile device just as you can on your desktop.
