North Creek offers a trout stream, which runs through the area with several creek side camping units. The nearby trails include Whitetail, Cornelius Creek and Apple Orchard Falls. A large expanse of National Forest land for hunting and hiking. Campground hosts are available for information and assistance during the summer.

Fishing is permitted following state regulations. When on national forest lands, all persons required to have a state license are also required to have a National Forest Stamp and, when in season, a trout stamp.
A state fishing license and appropriate stamps may be purchased at many of the local stores near the Glenwood & Pedlar Ranger Districts.
North Creek is a shady campground on the creek’s edge with naturally cooling breezes. Summer days are warm (70’s to 80’s), but frosts and early snows may linger in spring and come early in the fall.
